How to Build a Faceless YouTube Team for Under $500/Month
The whole point of faceless YouTube is that it runs without you. But you need a team to make that happen. Here's the exact team structure that our most successful students use.
The Core Team (3 People)
1. Scriptwriter — $20–$50/script
Where to find them: OnlineJobs.ph (Philippines), Fiverr (search "YouTube scriptwriter"), or Upwork. The Philippines is the sweet spot for English-speaking writers at affordable rates.
What to look for: Someone who understands YouTube retention, not just good writing. Academic writers are usually terrible at YouTube scripts. Ask for a sample script and check if it has hooks, pattern interrupts, and open loops.
2. Video Editor — $30–$80/video
Where to find them: Same platforms. Also check YouTube editing-specific communities on Discord and Reddit.
What to look for: Fast turnaround (24–48 hours), familiarity with your niche's visual style, and the ability to follow a template. You don't need a creative genius — you need someone reliable who can match a visual format.
3. Voiceover — $5–$40/video
Option A: AI voiceover ($5–$15/video). ElevenLabs, Murf, or PlayHT. Quality has gotten incredible in 2026. Most viewers can't tell the difference.
Option B: Human narrator ($20–$40/video). Better for niches where warmth and authority matter (health, finance, documentary). Fiverr and Voices.com are the best platforms.
The Management System
Don't micromanage. Set up a simple system:
- Monday: Send 3–4 topic briefs to your scriptwriter
- Wednesday: Review scripts, send approved ones to voiceover
- Thursday: Voiceover files go to editor with thumbnail brief
- Friday–Sunday: Review final videos, schedule uploads
Total time: 5–8 hours per week. That's it. The rest of your week is free.
